Malpas Parish Council is dedicated to serving the local community of Malpas, Cheshire. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for all residents and ensuring that our village remains a safe, attractive, and thriving place to live, work, and visit.
Malpas Parish Council is made up of 14 councillors who are elected every four years. We work together to represent the interests of all residents and to make decisions that benefit the local community.
The Council normally meets on the last Thursday of every Month (apart from in December) at 7pm in the High Street Church, High Street, Malpas.
Members of the Public are welcome to attend and observe proceedings. Unless given special dispensation by the Chair, the Public may only speak during the Open Forum session of the meeting.
(Please note, when there is a Part Two on the agenda the press and members of the public will be excluded from the meeting as the items to be discussed are either of a contractual or personal or sensitive nature.)
Members of the public can also raise issues with a Parish Councillor at their surgeries which are held in the Old Fire Station, Malpas on the first Saturday of every month between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
